Barbara S. Bushman (nee Binkley), age 74 years of Cincinnati, died December 17, 2018, beloved wife of Jim Bushman, devoted mother of Ross (Stacy) and Lee (Alison) Bushman, and loving grandmother of Amy, Emma, Cooper, Carson and Addyson Bushman. Barbara was an extremely valuable member of the Cincinnati charitable community, impacting those in need in dynamic ways. Serving a variety of over a dozen organizations over her career such as CET Connect (WCET), Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra, The Christ Hospital Foundation, Childrens Hospital, School PTAs and Bake Me Home just to name a few. A driving force in both leadership and fundraising, Barbara may be most remembered by many in the community for her work ethic. A roll up your sleeve attitude, no task or assignment was too big or small. If she saw something that needed to be done, she just did it no questions asked. Giving of her time and energy, Barbara exemplified the true spirit of what a volunteer should be, even earning one of her highest honors in 2013, being selected as one of the Cincinnati Enquirer Women of the Year. Her peers described her as a poster child for leadership. A private burial was held on December 21st.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be at Mt. Washington Presbyterian Church 6474 Beechmont Ave. Cincinnati 45230 on January 11th, at 1 pm. A reception and receiving line will be held at Coldstream Country Club 400 Asbury Rd., Cincinnati 45255 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM, following the service.
