Obituary for Verna L. Rosselot

Verna L. Rosselot (nee Tucker) age 77, formerly of Mt. Washington and Davie, Florida died November 27, 2018. She was the beloved wife of the late Calvin R. Rosselot, devoted mother of Victoria (David) Wolf, Robert Rosselot, Ronald (Marcia) Rosselot, Karen (Stella Brown) Mixer, Ralph (Kathryn) Rosselot, and Andrew (Nicole) Rosselot, loving grandmother of Jessica, James, Timothy, Babette, Kara, Andrew, Thomas, Samantha, and Rachel, caring great-grandmother of Samuel and Eleanor, and dear sister of the late Phyllis Stuergon and John Jones.

Verna loved her family and friends and the time she would spend with them. She was fun to be around and always ready to tell stories and make people laugh. She also enjoyed travel, bingo, great restaurants and shopping, especially at garage sales and farmers’ markets.

Verna was a friend to every person and animal she ever met. She found the good in people and accepted and respected their differences. She could strike up a conversation with anyone. She greeted cats and dogs with open arms and a welcome scratch on the head.

Although dementia robbed her of memory in her final years, Verna remained a kind, caring and generous person every day of her life. We will miss her very much.
